Our Mission

Guided by our passion for competition, sportsmanship, and fitness, the Gig Harbor Dragon Boat Club unites as a family, both on and off the water. Empowering each athlete to realize their potential, we embrace diversity and foster inclusion while promoting community and personal growth.

Our Values

We are more than a team; we are a family. The connections we build are the pillars of our success. We foster camaraderie, leadership, and a bond that transcends the sport.

Every stroke we take is a step toward personal growth. We support and nurture every member to discover their inner strength, resilience, and potential.

Our sport is the epitome of fun and fitness. The water is our playground, and the dragon boat is our vessel of strength. We become fitter, healthier, and more agile through vigorous workouts, teamwork, and perseverance.

Our spirit is ignited by the thrill of competition. We don't just paddle; we push our limits and strive for victory. We celebrate wins gracefully and learn from every challenge, always reaching for the next level of greatness.

We welcome paddlers of all ages, fitness levels, and aspirations. Whether you seek intense competition or a recreational escape on the water, the Gig Harbor Dragon Boat Team is your home.

We respect and protect the natural beauty of Gig Harbor, ensuring our waters and shores remain pristine for generations to come.

We are known for our exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the water. The Gig Harbor Dragons embody respect, encouragement, and support for all paddlers, setting a standard of maturity and integrity in the sport.
